GLOBAL MERCY FOUNDATION
Global Mercy Foundation is an international humanitarian nonprofit organization legally registered in the State of New Mexico, USA (Entity Number: 0008080129), and also holds a registration number within the European Union.
Vision: To lead in providing comprehensive humanitarian and developmental response that ensures the dignity of the Palestinian people, with a focus on integrating individuals with special needs into society as active and independent members, adhering to the highest international governance standards.
Mission: The Global Mercy Foundation operates as an international humanitarian entity seeking to achieve sustainable development in Palestine across the health, education, and relief sectors, adopting the highest standards of financial transparency and compliance to ensure support reaches beneficiaries fairly and equitably.
Key Strategic Objectives & Activities:
Education and Capacity Building: Establishing safe and inclusive learning environments for children and individuals with special needs, and providing tailored vocational training programs for youth.
Healthcare and Specialized Rehabilitation: Providing medication, prosthetic devices (wheelchairs, hearing aids, limbs), and operating mobile medical clinics to serve marginalized groups and the injured.
Emergency Relief and Inclusion: Distributing food and shelter aid with mechanisms that account for the needs of the disabled and the elderly, and implementing Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programs.
Sustainable Development and Economic Empowerment: Supporting small and micro-enterprises to empower vulnerable families and individuals with disabilities to achieve self-reliance.
Administrative Structure and Leadership (Updated):
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by Eng. Iyad Hassan Abu Ghrabah, with Mr. Ammar Faiq Masri serving as Vice Chairman. Dr. Muhammad Yassin Al-Jamassi holds the position of Executive Director, responsible for managing daily operations. The Foundation has authorized attorney Aya Ghola
